Faith Hill Gets Back to Songwriting; Inspired by Miranda Lambert and Zac Brown Band

Faith Hill is still working on a new album, her first since 2005's Fireflies. In addition to singing on the project, Faith is also diving back into songwriting. She tells Stockton, California's The Record newspaper, "I haven't written in a very long time, and I'm really enjoying it. I've been working with some amazing writers."

When it comes to musical inspiration for the new project, Faith points to two of country's hot new acts. "Miranda Lambert and the Zac Brown Band are my favorites," says Faith. "Miranda is an honest singer with a spitfire attitude. The Zac Brown Band can just play the hell out of a song." In addition to recording a new album, Faith is also launching her new fragrance, Faith Hill True, in the coming weeks.
